Catch bad dock appointments before they're booked.
Validock checks every Opendock appointment against your ERP while the carrier is still booking. If a PO is closed, mistyped or meant for another warehouse, the carrier sees exactly why, and your dock schedule stays clean.

What the carrier sees
PO 4500019120 wasn't found. Check the number with your shipper and book again.
BLOCKED
Opendock takes the booking. Your ERP knows if it should happen.
Carriers book whatever reference numbers they have. Without a check at booking time, the mistakes surface later, usually at the dock door.
- POs that are closed, cancelled or mistyped get a dock slot anyway.
- Loads meant for another warehouse land on your schedule.
- Trucks arrive before the order can ship, and someone has to turn them away.
How it works
-
Connect your ERP
Oracle, Infor M3, NetSuite, SQL Server or a scheduled file drop. Read-only access to your orders is enough.
-
Describe your rules
Say what makes an appointment valid in plain language: the PO is open, belongs to this warehouse, ships within four days. Validock builds the validator and you review it before it goes live.
-
Switch it on in Opendock
Point Opendock's appointment validation at your validator. Every booking is checked as it happens, and carriers see the reason when one is blocked.
Safe by default
Validock grew out of custom Opendock integrations we built and run for manufacturers and distributors. The rules below come from that work.
- Blocks instead of guessing
- If your ERP can't be reached, the booking is blocked with a clear message rather than waved through unchecked.
- One validator, one container
- Each validator runs in its own isolated container, separate from every other customer's.
- Every decision on record
- Each allow and block is logged with its reason, so you can answer why a carrier was turned away.
- Your order book stays put
- Validock looks up the reference numbers on each booking. It doesn't copy your orders anywhere.
Works with the systems your orders live in
